ARQUIMEA presents its technology-based animal reproduction solutions at EuroTier

ARQUIMEA, through its Agrotech division, has attended EuroTier 2022, the world’s largest livestock trade fair. This year, EuroTier has brought together more than 106,000 visitors from 141 different countries through its 1,800 exhibitors.
Under the motto “Passion for technology”, ARQUIMEA unveiled its latest innovations and capabilities for animal reproduction using technologies such as virtual reality at its stand C12 in Hall 15.
The Spanish technology company has used a 3D space to showcase its portfolio of solutions: from semen analysis systems with precision engineering or robotics to counting chambers, sperm promoters or diluents. Visitors, using virtual reality glasses, had the opportunity to navigate, zoom in or interact with the different equipment and solutions.
In the exhibition area, the company presented its swine semen analysis systems: ISAS PRO and SQS2, conducting various live demonstrations; and it also used the event to present its SQS2 system for bovine.
ISAS PRO is a robotised semen analysis system that uses artificial intelligence to ‘learn’ with each new analysis and improve the accuracy of the results over time. It automatically analyses boar semen quality, simultaneously assessing motility, morphology and concentration. In addition, the robotic nature of the equipment eliminates human error and increases the objectivity of the results.
SQS2, on the other hand, is an automatic and integrated system that evaluates swine and bovine semen quality, in less than a minute, using fluorescence technology.
The company also presented its reusable counting chambers, SPERMTRACK, which provides better optical quality and reliability of results, and the first product of its sustainable agriculture line: , a 100% biological and biodegradable algaecide.
ARQUIMEA positions itself as a benchmark company in the development of solutions and products based on proprietary technologies for the optimisation of the key stages of animal reproduction.
