Integration of small satellites

ARQUIMEA boasts more than 18 years of experience in the space sector and has participated, through its affiliated companies, in more than 180 space missions and in the development, manufacture and integration of critical systems and components aboard satellites.

This experience and technological capabilities are combined with the alliances established with the space sector’s leading companies to design and manufacture small satellites tailor-made for each mission.

Satellites for each mission

Design and manufacture of high-performance Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites

We design and integrate small satellites weighing up to 300 kg, optimised for reliability, size, weight and power (SWaP) thanks to our expertise in thermal control systems, structures and high-quality electronics. This type of satellite is optimised for complex payloads with demanding operating cycles and power consumption.

The development of these satellites responds to the growing demand for LEO missions and constellations for telecommunications, Earth observation using optical instruments or synthetic aperture radar, and other applications requiring high reliability and on-board satellite processing capabilities.

We have specialised for years in the design, manufacture, integration and testing of critical satellite components and systems along the entire space value chain. This experience, together with the alliance with leading partners in the sector, allows us to develop satellite platforms for different applications, such as telecommunications, Earth observation, science and exploration.
