Loitering system Q-SLAM-40

We design and manufacture the Q-SLAM-40 loitering system based on decades of experience in drones and defense systems. It is suitable to develop short-range missions safely and efficiently in which the pilot controls the system all time.

Technology for defense and security

Reliable and safe tactical loitering system

Q-SLAM-40 is a tactical loitering system designed to perform diverse types of short-range operations including protection safely and efficiently, surveillance, reconnaissance, target acquisition or damage assessment.  The loitering system has been designed to tackle complex combat environments in special or conventional operations on the field or from fixed defensive positions.
Q-SLAM-40 system is a cost-effective, flexible, robust and durable system that can be easily carried by a team of two soldiers in lightweight backpacks. The system is deployed anywhere needed in less than 5 minutes, ensuring fast reaction time.

Q-SLAM-40 main advantages
Endurance and scope
Up to 12 minutos of flight and 10 km of range indirect v uelo with specific coordinates.
<5 minutos in deploying
It allows missions to be conducted safely and effectively.
Operational without GPS
Q-SLAM-40 operates in a GPS-free environment in piloted flight mode.
The pilot controls the system at all times and can safely abort the mission if necessary.
Full control

Every mission under control

Q-SLAM-40 loitering system can carry on different types of operations, from protection or surveillance to reconnaissance and target acquisition. The pilot can control de platform and abort the mission or redirect it safely if necessary.

Q-SLAM-40 main features
Q-SLAM-40 has a wide range of automated or piloted flight modes.
Its small size and quiet electronic motor make it very difficult to detect, recognize and track even at close ranges.
The tube-pneumatic launcher has a low thermal and acoustic signature, enabling several launches.
Q-SLAM-40 is fully operable in a GPS-denied environment in piloted flight mode.
The pilot controls the system and can safely abort the mission if necessary.
The pilot can view real-time video through the ground control station.
The pilot can load the data of the target before take-off or can be changed by visual detection during the flight, ensuring full mission control.
Multidirectional maneuvering capacity, the pilot can easily adapt the direction according to mission needs.
The aerial platform airframe is made by a folding wing structure for quick and easy transportation and deployment.
The system includes advanced airborne guidance, navigation systems and payloads control.
It is a fully integrated system with high-speed, digital, encrypted and bidirectional data link.
The launcher can be onboard in different platforms as vehicles.
