ARQUIMEA to Manufacture Turbojet Engines for Defense Under License from Xicoy

ARQUIMEA, a technology company with more than 20 years of experience in the defense and space sectors, and Xicoy, a Spanish company specializing in the design and manufacture of jet engines and electronic turbine control systems, have entered into a licensing agreement that will enable ARQUIMEA to manufacture turbojet engines for defense applications in a range of sizes, from compact formats to high-thrust configurations.

As part of this program, ARQUIMEA is setting up a production line with the capacity to manufacture more than 3,000 engines per month. The facility will be dedicated to producing engines for military applications, while Xicoy will continue manufacturing turbojets for the aeromodelling and aviation industries.

The turbojet engines covered by the agreement can be used as propulsion systems in cruise missile and jet-powered drone programs. With this industrial capability, ARQUIMEA will be able to supply these engines to national and international companies interested in developing and manufacturing these types of systems.

The agreement expands ARQUIMEA’s capacity to support defense programs requiring high-volume production, continuity of supply, and configurations tailored to different thrust and size requirements.
