ARQUIMEA and EM&E Group Showcase Progress in the Integration of the Q-SLAM-40 into the GUARDIAN 30 at the Spanish Army’s 2E+I Forum

Toledo, 30 September 2026 – ARQUIMEA and EM&E Group are showcasing the progress made in integrating the Q-SLAM-40 loitering system into the GUARDIAN 30 remote weapon station at the 2E+I Forum, organised by the Spanish Army in Toledo.

The collaboration between the two companies aims to combine ARQUIMEA’s expertise in autonomous loitering systems with EM&E Group’s experience in designing and manufacturing remote weapon stations for land platforms. The result is a national solution that can be integrated into different platforms and used in missions involving loitering munitions and C-UAS operations.

At the 2E+I Forum, both companies are presenting the progress of their joint work and the technical advances achieved in the integration, including the successful tests conducted on the integration of the two systems. This configuration is designed to provide new surveillance, reconnaissance, target acquisition and precision-strike capabilities in tactical environments.

The Q-SLAM-40 is an unmanned aerial loitering system that combines autonomy, precision and operational flexibility. It incorporates autonomous navigation, electro-optical sensors and advanced artificial intelligence capabilities to locate, track and engage targets with a high degree of precision.

The EM&E Group GUARDIAN 30 is a remotely operated weapon system, stabilised on two axes and specifically designed for armoured vehicles. It incorporates two electro-optical systems, providing significant versatility for day and night operations.

Integrating the loitering drone into the weapon station will extend the operational reach of land units and enhance their ability to respond to targets located at greater distances or beyond the line of sight.
