Madrid, 6 October 2026. – ARQUIMEA, a global technology company with more than 20 years of experience in the defense, security, space and aeronautics sectors, has appointed César Martínez Argote as its new Director of Strategy for the Defense business area.
César Martínez’s appointment reflects ARQUIMEA’s commitment to strengthening the company’s growth and development in the defense sector and consolidating its position as a leading technology and strategic partner for its global customers.
César Martínez Argote holds a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the Technical University of Madrid (UPM) and has extensive international experience in strategy and business development across the defense and aerospace sectors. Throughout his career, he has held leadership roles at companies such as Destinus and Oesia and contributed to major international programmes at Airbus — the A400M and MRTT programmes —, Indra — the FCAS/NGWS programme — and MBDA.
In this role, he will contribute to defining and developing ARQUIMEA’s defense strategy, reporting directly to Manuel Martín Flórez, Managing Director of ARQUIMEA’s Defense business area. Against a backdrop of evolving Armed Forces’ operational requirements and growing European technological and industrial capabilities, his work will help guide the company’s development priorities in the sector and strengthen its position in domestic and international markets.
