Madrid, April 10, 2026 – ARQUIMEA, a global technology company, has successfully completed the launch of ARQSAT-1, a demonstrator satellite that marks the practical starting point of the MAGEC constellation development. The project is driven through CanarySat, the group’s company focused on space infrastructure operations.

The mission, carried out from California aboard a SpaceX launch vehicle, was coordinated by ARQUIMEA, which is responsible for the satellite’s technological development and will also lead the design and manufacturing of future elements of the constellation.

With ARQSAT-1, the company takes a key step in validating its own capabilities in orbit, particularly in the field of propulsion. The satellite will operate as a testbed under real conditions, enabling the analysis of a system designed to improve maneuver efficiency and optimize resource management in orbit.

These capabilities are critical in today’s context, where the growing number of satellites in low Earth orbit demands more precise and efficient solutions to ensure both operational performance and the sustainability of the space environment.

The results obtained during the mission will support the technological consolidation of MAGEC and facilitate its future deployment. At the same time, CanarySat will play a central role in the constellation’s operations, while ARQUIMEA strengthens its positioning as an end-to-end provider, covering everything from system design to manufacturing.

With this milestone, ARQUIMEA continues to advance its space strategy, focused on developing its own infrastructure with applications in secure communications, institutional services, and high-demand environments.
