Madrid, 28 February 2021.- ARQUIMEA, a technology company that operates globally in highly demanding sectors, has announced today the opening of a new Fly COVID Test centre at Santiago de Compostela airport, where passengers will be able to take PCR, antigen and antibody tests with results in record time.
In order to facilitate air travel, ARQUIMEA, in collaboration with LabGenetics, has opened a Fly COVID Test testing centre on the first floor, at the departure area of the Santiago de Compostela airport. Their aim is to provide the capital of the Galician region with the COVID-19 tests needed for passengers to meet travel requirements.
The centre will be open every day of the week from 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. Opening hours are expected to be extended in accordance with flight schedules and increase in activity.
As other Fly COVID test centres, passengers will have a comprehensive COVID-19 testing service available at Santiago de Compostela airport with results in record time: antigen test and rapid antibody tests, with results in 15-20 minutes, and PCR tests, with results in 12 hours.
The results reports are issued by certified laboratories, in English and Spanish, and are valid for travel to Spanish and international destinations. In addition, our PCR kits are endorsed by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to detect other emerging SARS-CoV-2 variants, such as the Omicron variant.
Besides Santiago de Compostela airport, Fly COVID Test is also available at Barcelona T1, Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas (T2 and T4), Bilbao, Malaga, Seville and Jerez airports. During the first quarter of 2022, it will also open a second Fly COVID Test centre at Barcelona airport Terminal 2.
