ASIC/FPGA Design

ARQUIMEA provides turnkey analog, digital and mixed-signal ASICs and (digital) FPGAs, embracing the entire supply chain from initial definition of requirements and consolidation, design, manufacture, validation, up to the delivery of the qualified chips. We specialize in integrated circuits hardened by design against the effects of cosmic and environmental radiation.

We are fabless, so we provide the most suitable technology for each application, from 350nm (high voltage) up to 22nm deep submicron (high speed).

  • REDSAT ASIC set ELSA: Smart Power Chip Set for reconfigurable antenna control. Qualified for GEO Comsat. 1500+ flight units delivered since 2012 (customer: Airbus Defence & Space).
  • COSMIC VISION reconfigurable mixed-signal ASICs (customer: European Space Agency – ESA).
  • Mixed-Signal ASIC for Avionics (OBC+PCDU) control in low-cost satellites (customer: IHP Microelectronics).
  • SWIPE ASIC for Radiometry (EC FP7 Program).
  • Design and integration of a RH ADC IP for a Scalable Sensor Data Processor ASIC (SSDP) (customer: Thales Alenia Space).
  • QUANTUM – Fast Beam Hopping Enabled Digital ASIC (customer: Airbus Defence & Space).
  • TMTC ASIC – Mixed-signal ASIC for telemetry and telecommand (customer: Airbus Defence & Space).
