Paris 15 June 2022 – ARQUIMEA, technology company that operates globally in highly demanding sectors with more than 15 years of experience and 600 professionals, presents in Eurosatory eCOMPASS, the electronic aiming solutions that completes the ARQUIMEA’s electronic and information systems portfolio for mortars.

The eCOMPASS is an electronic aiming solution for mortar that reduces the aiming process to 50 seconds. It is easily deployed in only 3 steps: northfinding, data reception and aiming and firing.

The system consists of a multiple sensors module, a battery, and a rugged tablet that is easy to transport and use. The high shock resistance of eCOMPASS allows it to be used in all type of mortars regardless their caliber, charge, or rate of fire. eCOMPASS can be operated in standalone mode or it can also be integrated in the fire control system customer’s computer.

This solution completes the portfolio of ARQUIMEA for mortars that includes other information systems such as Techfire, integrated fire control system, already in service in NATO Armed Forces, mCounter, shot counter for mortars maintenance, and Shepherd, Unmanned Forward Observer UAV with the shape of a bird. All these devices are compatible with all type of mortars, are user friendly and have been developed by mortar experts to improve capabilities of the Armed Forces and improve their safety.
