ARQUIMEA participates in World Pork Expo 2022, the world’s largest event devoted exclusively to the swine industry, to present its latest developments in animal breeding to the US market.

World Pork Expo, which will be held from 8 to 10 June in Des Moines, Iowa (US), will bring together more than 350 exhibiting companies, over 300,000 ft2 (28,000m2), and expects to welcome more than 10,000 swine producers and agricultural professionals.

With the slogan ‘Agrointelligence for future’, the Spanish technology company will showcase, at its stand V1042, located in the Premium Outdoor area next to the pavilion ‘Varied Industries’, its automated semen analysis systems, based on proprietary technology: ISAS PRO Boar and SQS2.

ISAS PRO Boar, based on CASA technology, is a robotised system that automatically analyses boar semen quality, simultaneously assessing motility, morphology and concentration.

SQS2, on the other hand, is an automatic and integrated system that evaluates, using fluorescence technology, the vitality, agglutinations and morphology of boar semen.

During the fair, the company will hold live product demonstrations, showing the operation of the new automated equipment and its intuitive and user-friendly analysis software.

The company will also use the event to present its entire portfolio of swine breeding products – from sperm promoters or reusable counting chambers to pheromone vaporisers that replace the presence of the boar.
