ARQUIMEA R&D strategy targets two main goals : To develop new technologies and materials to improve the space technology catalogue, and to explore other applications in other sectors of society in which the know-how and expertise achieved in space can be applied.
Current lines of research are:
- Electronic Cargo Management for intermodal transport.
- SMARQ application to urinary incontinency counteracting.
- SMARQ application to exoskeleton for space suits, soldier suits and rehabilitation suits.
- New Robotic Technologies.
- Improvised Explosive Devices and Biological and Chemical threats detection.
- Nanomaterials for environmental and biological detection.
- Radiation mitigation techniques in Integrated Circuits and MEMS design.
- Electroactive Polymer Actuators and Devices.
- Sensor networks.
- Sensors for early detection of harness degradation.
- New Shape Memory Allow materials and processes.
ARQUIMEA is always OPEN TO NEW IDEAS, so If you want to contact with ARQUIMEA R&D Group to discuss about any of these or other research lines please click here.
